INTERMEDIATE EDUCATION

TSBIE: JANGAON

1)  Annual Academic affiliation of the (07) Govt.  Junior colleges ,TSSWJCs (05), TSTWJC (01),TSRJC (01), Model JCs (08), KGBV JCs (04) BCW JC (03) TSMW JC (02) &Private JCs (17)  all together 48 Junior   colleges in the District are  to be done through this office for this academic year 2021-22.

Out of these all Govt. & Govt.Sector Junior Colleges (36) have got affiliation so far.

       There were 16 regular teaching staff, 14 non-teaching staff,59 Contract Faculty Members & 42  Guest Faculty Members are working in the Govt Junior Colleges in the District.

• In this pandemic Covid-19 situation IPE March 2021 exams were not conducted and as per the guidelines of the Govt all the 1^st & 2^nd yr students of Intermediate who had paid the IPE March 2021 exam fee shall have declared as passed.

        The total fee paid for 1^st yr & 2^nd yr students are 4986 & 4807 respectively in all Junior Colleges declared as passed.

3)Free online admissions (due Covid-19) are being mobilized visiting by the staff of the colleges from door to doorCanvassing of their respective colleges. Admissions are in progress . As on 01.09.2021 the admissions are 3058 in 1^st year and 4994 in 2^nd year in both General & Vocational streams.

4)  After admission process is completed the students distributed free text books supplied by the Government and Online Classes  for 1^st& 2^nd  yr students are conducting through T-SAT and DD Yadagiri Channels . For this there are Whats app groups & Zoom app meetings formed in different subjects by the GJCs’ Principals through concerned subject lecturers for monitoring & clarifying the doubts of the students.

5)   As in part of TKHH this year in GJCs we have established a block forest with 600 plants at GJC Kodakandla inaugurated by our honorable Collector madam on 30.07.2020 and with 200 plants at GJC Zaffergadh with local Sarpanch,MPTC etc.. in the month of Aug 2020.

            This year our Jangaon Muncipality started a mini park with walking track at GJC,Jangaon as a part of 7^th TKHH in “PATTANA PRAGATHI”.

6)  As per the Commissioner of Intermediate Education,Hyderabad orders and with approval of Hon’ble  Dist Collector, Jangaon we have started one Police Recruitment Training Centre at Govt Junior College Jangaon to impart FREE coaching on Physical Fitness & Written Tests both in Preliminary and Main Exams to the Intermediate 2^nd year studying and passed out students of Govt Junior Colleges in November 2020 and convened valedictory function on 28.01.2021 and distributed T-  shirts to trainees sponsored by Hon’ble Dist Collector, Jangaon.

7)   As per the instructions of the Govt physical classes are running to Intermediate 2^nd yr students of both in General  & Vocational streams from 01.09.2021  in all Govt & Private Junior Colleges of this dist following SoP  guidelines of Covid-19 after well sanitization of rooms,toilets,labs etc..
