Drugs Control Administration, Jangaon District :

     Brief Summary of Duties and Responsibilities :

1. To inspect the sale premises and Blood banks and ensure that the guidelines of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 are being followed.
2. To search and seize the drugs wherein an offence under Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 is being committed.
3. To examine the records/registers/documents pertaining to the activities of the sale premises.
4. To launch prosecutions.
5. To pick up the samples from sales premises and Govt. stores and send for analysis.
6. To enforce D&C Act, DMROA and DPCO Acts.
