About Department:

          District Industries Centre is the District level office of the Department of Industries, Government of Telangana. The District Industries Centre, Jangaon is headed by the General Manager of Assistant Director of Industries cadre.

The Main Functions of the District Industries Centre are:

• Facilitation and guidance to the entrepreneurs in establishing the MSMEs (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises).
• Coordinating with related departments for approvals/permissions required for establishment of MSMEs under TG-iPASS Act (Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self-Certification System).
• Implementing PMEGP (Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme) Scheme in the district in parallel with KVIC (Khadi and Village Industries Commission.) and KVIB (Khadi and Village Industries Board) for unemployed.
• Implementing T-PRIDE (Telangana State Program for Rapid Incubation of Dalit Entrepreneurs Incentive Scheme) and T-IDEA (Telangana State Industrial Development and Entrepreneur Advancement) schemes for processing eligible various incentives for MSMEs
• Allotment of Scarce raw materials like coal, alcohol to required MSMEs
• Maintaining the list of MSMEs which are registered in Udyam Portal.
• Conducting of EDP (Entrepreneurial Development Programs) in coordination with other related Government Departments.
